Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias in Pontefract

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business in Pontefract who are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

Location: Pontefract
Salary: £42,500 per annum
Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days

The Role

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing machinery

• Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime

• Carrying out PPMs and ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard

• Fault finding on motors, sensors, inverters and other electrical components

• Mechanical maintenance including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings and gearboxes

• Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

The Candidate

• Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment

• Recognised engineering qualification – ideally NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent

• Confident with both electrical and mechanical fault finding

• Strong breakdown and preventative maintenance experience

• Comfortable working a 4 on 4 off day shift
