The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Working as part of a team of six engineers, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns and support continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain low-voltage electrical systems, including 24V, single-phase and three-phase equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on control panels and production machinery.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and performance.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain high operational standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A recognised electrical engineering qualification.
- Experience working with industrial machinery within a manufacturing, food production or similar environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills with a good understanding of mechanical systems.
- Experience with automated production equipment (highly desirable).
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving.
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.

Working Hours
This position operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Saturday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Week 2
- Monday to Friday: 1:45pm – 9:45pm
