Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Shift: 4 on 3 off (Sunday cover required) | Flexible hours between 06:00 - 19:00

A growing FMCG manufacturer in Middlesbrough is looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. Based at a modern, high-volume production facility, you'll provide hands-on engineering support across a range of semi-automated machinery, keeping production running efficiently and minimising downtime.

Sector – FMCG Manufacturing

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance experience.
• Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge (Inputs/Outputs).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

• Electrical fault finding (3-phase, motors, sensors and inverters).
• Motor wiring and testing.
• Mechanical maintenance including bearings, belts, chains and pneumatics.
• Reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Small machinery installations and modifications.
• Production machinery maintenance.
• Continuous Improvement mindset.
• Good communication and Health & Safety awareness.

• Electrical bias.
• Food or FMCG manufacturing experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

• Salary of £42,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
• 4 on 3 off shift pattern with flexible working hours.
