Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

📍 Location: Leeds, LS10
💷 Salary: Around £40,000 (DOE)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing site, working days only and supporting the maintenance and reliability of production machinery.

The Person

• NVQ Level 3 qualified or Apprentice Trained in Engineering
• Previous experience working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background
• Confident carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Respond to machine breakdowns and complete reactive repairs
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on manufacturing equipment
• Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently
• Complete maintenance records and associated paperwork
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across site
