We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our client's busy distribution centre on the outskirts of Birmingham.
This is a fast-paced environment, and you will not only be responsible for responding to breakdowns but also ensuring the planned preventative maintenance and service documentation is kept up to date.
There is a wide range of machinery on site including conveyors, picking and packing machinery, box erectors, banding machinery, palletisers to name a few.
We are looking for someone who is confident both electrically, mechanically, has good understanding of pneumatics and happy to take the lead on breakdowns when needed.
Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician
- Proven expertise in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong Attention to detail
- CMMS use
- Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
- Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
- Perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Hands on ownership of issues
- Minimum LEVEL 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification or Equivalent
- Experience with fault finding, continuous improvements
- Confident with Microsoft Office including word, excel, outlook etc
- IOSH and knowledge of PROFINET, PROFIBUS would be an advantage
- Salary £49,500 (inclusive of annualised Shift Supplement)
- 10 Hour Shifts
- Permanent NIGHTS MONDAY - THURSDAY 8:00pm - 6:00am
