Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative (Carpentry)
Location: Birmingham
Pay Rate: £180 per day (£22.50 per hour, based on an 8-hour day)
Start Date: Immediate

Job Description

We are looking for 1 Multi-Skilled Operative with a background in Carpentry/Joinery to join a nursery school refurbishment project in Birmingham with an immediate start.

Duties will include:

• Stud wall installation
• Basic carpentry and joinery works
• Minor plumbing alterations (basic pipework)
• Basic plastering and skimming
• Rip out and reinstatement works
• Assisting other trades as required

Please note: Electrical and main plumbing works will be carried out by specialist subcontractors.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry, Joinery, or a relevant construction trade (or equivalent experience)
• Previous refurbishment experience
• Own PPE (Safety Boots, Hi-Vis, Gloves and Safety Goggles)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and hardworking
• Available to start immediately
