Shift Pattern: Continental Shift (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am – Days & Nights)

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Technician to join a highly regarded engineering team at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Shift Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical building services across a high-profile commercial property.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding and repair across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Monitoring and operating critical plant and building management systems (BMS)
  • Responding to plant alarms and emergency situations
  • Carrying out statutory compliance checks and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting specialist contractors and managing permits to work
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures and site standards

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or critical environments
  • Multi-skilled with a strong electrical or mechanical bias
  • Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition (desirable)
  • Experience working with HVAC, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, electrical distribution and associated building services plant
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
