You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of building maintenance activities across the estate. This includes carpentry repairs, minor brickwork, roofing maintenance, patch plastering, pathway and surface repairs, minor building works, external maintenance and general estate upkeep. The role requires a practical, multi-skilled approach and would suit someone who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership of varied maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a recognised trade such as Brickwork, Carpentry, Roofing, General Building, Plastering or Electrical. You will have experience working within estates, facilities management, property maintenance, construction or similar environments where a broad range of practical maintenance skills are required.

The Role
*Days-based role working 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
*Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a large estate.
*General building maintenance including carpentry, minor brickwork and building fabric repairs.
*Roofing inspections and minor roof repairs.
*Patch plastering and general decorating repairs.
*Pathway, paving and external surface repairs.
*Investigating and repairing building defects.
*Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities.
*Using CAFM systems to manage and record work.
*Working closely with contractors and internal stakeholders.
*Participating in the call-out rota with additional earnings.
The Person
*NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade such as Brickwork, Carpentry, Roofing, General Building, Plastering or Electrical.
*Experience within estates, facilities, construction or property maintenance.
*Multi-skilled approach to building maintenance.
*Able to carry out a variety of internal and external maintenance tasks.
*Strong understanding of safe working practices.
*Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
