Multi-Trade Operative – Full-Time Position

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and general building works across both commercial and domestic properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and versatile tradesperson looking for long-term, stable employment with a professional and expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general building and maintenance works
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and decorating
• Property repairs and refurbishment projects
• Kitchen and bathroom installations
• Internal and external maintenance works
• Brickwork repairs and minor groundworks
• Diagnosing and resolving building defects
• Working from job specifications and site instructions
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or General Builder
• Strong all-round knowledge of building maintenance and construction
• Competent across a variety of trades including carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating, and basic plumbing
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Full UK driving licence essential
• CSCS card desirable
