We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy repairs and maintenance team, carrying out responsive repairs and general maintenance across social housing properties in and around the Peterborough area.

The Role
As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties. You will work independently across the Peterborough area, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within social housing properties.
- Completing carpentry and joinery repairs.
- Undertaking general multi-trade maintenance as required.
- Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repair solutions.
- Working directly in residents' homes in a professional and respectful manner.
- Completing work orders and recording relevant information accurately.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining company standards and delivering excellent customer service.
- We are looking for a qualified and experienced Multi-Trade Operative who has a strong background in carpentry or joinery and is confident carrying out a range of general repairs.
The sucsessful Multi-Trade Operative will ideally have:
- A recognised qualification in Carpentry or Joinery.
- Previous experience working in repairs and maintenance.
- Experience within social housing, housing associations or a similar environment is desirable.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A professional approach when working in residents' homes.
- A full UK driving licence.

- £37,700 per annum salary
