Multi Trade Operative

You’ll be working for an established housing association across the Birmingham area, carrying out essential day-to-day maintenance and repairs within their social housing properties. You’ll have consistent work throughout the contract and everything needed to travel between jobs as a Multi Trade Operative.
I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Multi Trade Operative, Multi Skilled Carpenter, Maintenance Carpenter or Multi Skilled Engineer within social housing.
As a Multi Trade Operative you will be:
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and day-to-day repairs
- Completing carpentry repairs as your main trade
- Repairing and maintaining doors, frames, locks and other timber fixtures
- Undertaking additional multi-trade repairs as required
- Working across social housing properties
- Ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to a good standard
- A recognised carpentry qualification
- Strong carpentry experience as their main trade
- Previous social housing experience
- Experience completing reactive maintenance and day-to-day repairs
- Additional multi-trade maintenance skills
- A full UK driving licence
- £22 per hour
- 37 hours per week
- 3-month contract
- Company van and fuel card provided
- Weekly pay
- CIS payments available
Based around Birmingham, you’ll be travelling between the housing association’s properties across the local area, with a company van and fuel card provided to make travelling between jobs straightforward.
