Salary: Up to £38,847.17 per annum (depending on experience) + company van

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role
Planned Works Team

The Planned Works team is responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical maintenance works across a large social housing portfolio. Working alongside in-house teams and approved subcontractors, the team delivers major improvement programmes including kitchen renewals, bathroom replacements, roofing works and insulation upgrades.

The team also undertakes cyclical maintenance programmes, including statutory safety inspections such as passenger lifts and electrical installations, as well as delivering a range of specialist projects and property improvement works.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, motivated and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Operative (Kitchen Fitter) to join the Planned Works team, covering Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, West Sussex and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality kitchen installations within occupied and void social housing properties. The role requires strong carpentry and plumbing skills, along with the ability to undertake additional multi-trade works where required.

Working as part of a professional team, you will complete installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring all work complies with current building maintenance practices and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out full kitchen installations within social housing properties.
Complete associated carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade works.
Deliver planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
Work efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship and attention to detail.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
Maintain excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes.
Complete jobs within agreed programmes and timescales.
Keep work areas clean, safe and tidy.
Represent the organisation professionally at all times.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter or Multi-Trade Operative.
Strong carpentry and plumbing skills.
Experience working within social housing, planned maintenance or property refurbishment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach with a "right first time" attitude.
Full UK Driving Licence.
