An established social housing contractor is looking to recruit experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join its Voids property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a background in social housing maintenance to help refurbish void properties, ensuring homes are brought back to a high standard and ready for new tenants as quickly as possible.

Working across a portfolio of residential properties, the successful candidate will carry out a variety of planned refurbishment works, playing an important role in reducing void turnaround times and delivering quality homes for local communities.

The Role

• Refurbishment of empty social housing properties.
• Kitchen and bathroom installations, including all associated works.
• Carpentry repairs and maintenance.
• Domestic plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
• Completing works to a high standard within agreed programmes.
• Recording completed works using handheld devices.
• Working safely and professionally while delivering excellent workmanship.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within social housing, planned maintenance or void property refurbishment.
• Strong experience installing kitchens and bathrooms.
• Good all-round carpentry skills.
• Competence in plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
• The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Experience using handheld IT systems to record work.
• A good understanding of health and safety within occupied and void residential properties.
• A full UK driving licence.
