Multi-Trade Technician

I am currently representing Southern Housing, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Multi-Trade Technician this role will be based at: E3 3UP

The right candidate will:

We’re looking to bring on board a Multi Trade Technician specialising in Plumbing or Carpentry, who thrives in a challenging, fast paced environment.

Your main base will be Bow, with regular travel required across East London and Essex.

A company van will be provided.

You'll be an essential member of the Direct Repairs department providing a comprehensive, efficient, and responsive property service delivery.

You'll successfully deliver the works required to a high quality, and as detailed within the order, to maximise first time fix criteria, appointment objectives, enhance resident satisfaction, with efficient working practices.

What you'll have

• Experience as a Plumber or Carpenter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six points and with no serious motoring offences in the last 10 years (i.e., CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, MR, TT). You must also have a minimum of two years driving experience.
• We will undertake driving licence checks on the successful candidate as part of our standard pre-employment checks process.
