Multi-Skilled Tradesperson Required

Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

£26 per hour | Multiple Locations across Essex | Immediate Starts

We are currently looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Tradespeople to join a busy programme of maintenance and remedial works across several healthcare sites in Essex.

We have an immediate requirement for two Multi-Skilled Tradespeople to start in Colchester on 1st September 2026, with further positions expected to become available shortly afterwards.

• The Lakes, Colchester – 2 wards / approximately 67 jobs
• Kings Wood Centre, Colchester – 1 ward / approximately 46 jobs
• The Linden Centre, Chelmsford – 2 wards / approximately 41 jobs
• Crystal Centre, Chelmsford – 1 ward / approximately 7 jobs
• Basildon MHU, Basildon – 1 ward / approximately 2 jobs
• Derwent Centre, Harlow – 1 ward / approximately 28 jobs
• Rochford Hospital, Rochford – 1 ward / approximately 14 jobs

The Role

You will be carrying out a variety of maintenance and remedial works across the sites. The jobs will vary considerably in size, from smaller tasks that may take around 20 minutes to larger jobs requiring an hour or more.

We are looking for tradespeople who are multi-skilled, reliable and confident working independently within a healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson
• CSCS Card – essential
• DBS – essential (standard DBS is sufficient; enhanced DBS not required)
• Good standard of workmanship
• Reliable and professional approach
• Ability to work across different sites where required
• Experience working within commercial, healthcare or facilities environments would be advantageous

Pay & Start Date

£26.00 per hour

Immediate start – 1st September 2026

The initial requirement is for two tradespeople in Colchester, with one expected to be based at The Lakes and one at Kings Wood Centre.

A further two positions are expected approximately one week later, with site allocations to be confirmed.

Contract

The exact contract duration is currently to be confirmed, but there is a significant volume of work across the sites and further positions are expected to become available.
