Multi Trade Operative

Location: North of Thames - Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Newham, Hackney, Enfield & Waltham Forest
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
We are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties.
Role includes:

• Carrying out a range of repairs across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating, and basic plastering
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently on first visit where possible
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining fixtures and fittings within residential properties
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company procedures
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and regulations
• Providing a professional, customer-focused service to tenants and residents
• Accurately completing job reports and updating works via a smartphone app

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing, property maintenance, or a similar environment
• Competence across a variety of trades, with a strong core trade background
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• Own tools and confidence using a smartphone app for job management
• Full UK driving licence
• A drug and alcohol test will be carried out on the day of induction
