Multi Trader – Social Housing (South London)

Location: South London (Southwark and Merton)
Pay Rate: £24.54 per hour (via Umbrella Company)
Job Type: Temp to perm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team covering properties across South London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent work with a well-established contractor.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied social housing properties.
• Complete a variety of trades including carpentry or plumbing as well as minor plastering, painting and other maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on the first visit where possible.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance.
• Strong carpentry skills with experience across other trades.
• Full Manual UK driving licence (essential).
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
