Multi Trader – Social Housing

Location: Essex & East London
Pay: £20–£24 per hour PAYE
Vehicle: Company van + fuel card provided
Employment: Full-time, long-term opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a social housing maintenance team covering Essex and East London.

The successful candidate must have a strong main trade in either Plumbing or Carpentry, along with good all-round maintenance skills.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs and general maintenance works across occupied and void social housing properties.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance in social housing properties

• Using your main trade of Plumbing or Carpentry

• Completing a variety of multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out appropriate repairs

• Working safely and professionally in tenants' homes

• Completing jobs to a high standard and within agreed timescales

• Maintaining accurate job records

• Providing a professional and customer-focused service to residents

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Multi Trader / Maintenance Operative

• Main trade must be Plumbing or Carpentry

• Experience within social housing, housing maintenance or property repairs is highly desirable

• Good knowledge of general maintenance and repair work

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload

• Good communication and customer service skills
