Location: SG, AL & MK postcode areas
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £24.53 per hour Umbrella
Probation: 3 months
Company Van & Fuel Card Provided

We are currently looking for an experienced Social Housing Multi Trader to join our team, covering properties across the SG, AL and MK postcode areas.

This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role following a successful 3-month probationary period.

The Role

As a Multi Trader, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of responsive repairs and maintenance works within social housing properties. You will need to be confident working independently, managing your own workload and delivering a high standard of workmanship.

Typical duties may include:

• General property maintenance and repairs
• Carpentry and joinery repairs
• Plumbing repairs
• Basic plastering
• Tiling
• Painting and decorating
• General maintenance and remedial works
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Working within occupied social housing properties
• Providing a professional and courteous service to residents
• Completing jobs to a high standard and within agreed timescales

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Multi Trader/Multi Skilled Operative
• Experience working within social housing or domestic properties
• Good knowledge of general property repairs and maintenance
• A professional attitude and good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
• Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• A full UK driving licence
• Your own reliable hand tools
