Multi Trader - Social Housing

Emberstone Recruitment is seeking a versatile Multi Trader for a prominent social housing project across Stevenage. This role involves carrying out a variety of building maintenance tasks, primarily focusing on voids ranging from small repairs to larger refurbishments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality work across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, and painting/making good, ensuring all void properties are prepared to a high standard for new occupants. The role requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards on site. You will be expected to assess and carry out repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption for tenants, and contribute to the ongoing upkeep of the housing stock. • Proven experience as a Multi Trader with a range of trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, and painting/making good
• Experience working on social housing or void properties advantageous
• Ability to undertake a variety of maintenance and repair tasks effectively
• Own tools and a valid UK driving licence preferred
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
