Multi Trader / Wet Room / Bathroom Fitter
Our client, Trust Marlowe, is looking for an experienced Multi Trader with a background in installing bathrooms and level access shower adaptations (wet rooms) to join their growing team.

Typical Day-to-Day Duties
Typical day-to-day activities on a level access adaptation include:
- Strip-outs: Isolate hot and cold water feeds, remove existing bath, tiles and flooring.
- First fix plumbing: Reroute existing pipework out of the wet area and install a new cold feed to the shower.
- Make good walls for tiling using dry lining or bonding.
- Studwork: Build stud walls where required to accommodate pipework and electrical services.
- Install Tuff Form tray: Cut out floorboards to install the Tuff Form tray and run new gravity waste pipework and connections.
- Prepare the subfloor by laying a 6mm plywood overlay to the remaining floor area.
- Wall tiling: Approximately 10m² of tiling within the wet area, plus a splashback behind the basin. Average tile size is 250mm x 250mm.
- Remove and refit the existing WC to allow installation of the new safety flooring.
- Second fix plumbing: Install the new basin and semi-pedestal, and fit the new shower.
- Install new standard 750mm wet room screens.
- Install grab rails, liaising with the client to determine the most suitable positions.
- Clean and seal the completed installation.
- Safety flooring will be installed by others.
- Electrical work will be carried out by others.
Experience in plumbing, tiling and carpentry is essential for this role.
