THE ROLE
As a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician - Panel & Paint, you'll work across both vehicle body repair and paint refinishing, helping to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining excellent quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out panel repairs, including repairing, replacing, and refitting damaged body panels.
·Preparing vehicle surfaces for refinishing, including sanding, filling, masking, and priming.
·Mixing and applying paint, carrying out colour matching, blending, and refinishing work.
·Assessing vehicle damage and selecting appropriate Panel and Paint repair methods.
·Working closely with other Bodyshop technicians to ensure vehicles progress efficiently through the repair process.
·Carrying out quality checks to ensure completed repairs meet the required standard.
·Managing allocated repairs effectively to meet productivity and quality expectations.
·Maintaining tools, equipment, and the working area in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
ABOUT YOU
This role would suit an experienced Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Vehicle Body Repair Technician who is confident working across both Panel and Paint.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience within a professional Bodyshop or accident repair environment.
·Strong practical experience across both Panel Beating and Paint Spraying.
·Hold a recognised qualification or accreditation (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent).
·Good knowledge of modern vehicle body repair and refinishing techniques.
·Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
·The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a skilled workshop team.
·Strong organisation and time management skills.
·A full UK driving licence.
