We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join the facilities management team at a large, high-profile commercial workplace in Waterloo.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major flagship site and one of the largest locations of its kind in Europe, as part of an established engineering team.

The Role

As a Multiskilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of the building and its mechanical and electrical services.

The position is static, working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, as part of a team of engineers permanently based on site.

The successful candidate will have a strong M&E / Facilities Management background, with either an Electrical or Mechanical bias.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

• Fault finding and diagnosis across M&E building services

• Complete electrical or mechanical maintenance within your area of expertise

• Respond to breakdowns and building services issues

• Ensure plant and equipment is operating safely and efficiently

• Assist with general building services and facilities maintenance

• Complete maintenance records and job sheets

• Work closely with the wider engineering and facilities team

• Maintain high standards of customer service and site presentation

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Multiskilled Engineer, Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Facilities Engineer

• A recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification

• A good understanding of M&E building services

• Previous experience within commercial buildings / facilities management

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A professional and client-facing approach

• The ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team
