TeacherActive is proud to be working with The Wilnecote School, a secondary school in Tamworth, who are looking to appoint a Music and Drama Teacher. The school aims to inspire every student to dream ambitiously and strive beyond their own expectations, with a strong focus on self-discipline, resilience, respect and equity of opportunity. Rated Good by OFSTED, the school is committed to creating a supportive community where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a Music and Drama Teacher on a long-term temporary basis from September until February Half Term. The successful Music and Drama Teacher will be responsible for teaching Music and Drama across the school, delivering engaging lessons that encourage creativity, confidence and personal development while maintaining high expectations for student progress and behaviour.

The successful Music and Drama Teacher will have:

• QTS with a specialism in Music and/or Drama
• Experience teaching Music and Drama within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for supporting students to achieve their potential
