Salary: £168.88 - £261.78 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and skilled Music Teachers to work across a variety of secondary schools throughout Redcar. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an ECT keen to develop confidence and classroom experience, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young people, develop their creativity, and deliver engaging Music lessons across the secondary curriculum.

As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
• Teaching a range of practical and theoretical aspects of Music
• Developing pupils' skills in performance, composition, and listening
• Supporting students with a range of musical abilities and interests
• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Encouraging creativity, confidence, and participation within lessons
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Working collaboratively with department staff and pastoral teams
• Supporting extracurricular music clubs, performances, concerts, or enrichment where required

You'll have the opportunity to work in different schools, allowing you to find the environment that best suits your strengths and teaching style.

• QTS or QTLS (or strong FE/Music teaching experience with relevant qualifications)
• Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music education
• Confidence delivering both practical and classroom-based Music lessons
• A proactive, creative, and adaptable approach
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Two professional references covering the last 2 years
