National Account Manager Seafood

Talent Guardian

National Account Manager
£55,000-£70,000 per annum
London based

Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established and fast-growing fresh and frozen foodservice supplier to find an ambitious National Account Manager to own and grow their biggest, highest-volume accounts.

This is an entrepreneurial, autonomous role for a commercially sharp operator — not a corporate box-ticking job. If you're motivated by winning big accounts and being rewarded directly for the profit you generate, this one's worth a look.
The role You'll own and grow multi-site and national business across foodservice, with a clear mandate to land bigger, higher-volume accounts — think contract caterers, airlines, meal manufacturers, football clubs, cruise lines, hotels, pubs and QSR. The focus is high-end, high-value business, not commodity.
  • Win and grow large-volume national accounts from first meeting to full distribution
  • Build head-office relationships across buyers, food development, NPD, technical and supply chain
  • Lead tenders, central negotiations, listings, trials and multi-site rollouts
  • Spot and shape NPD opportunities with development chefs
  • Own your pipeline and lead generation using CRM and market data tools
  • Stay commercially rigorous on margin, terms and forecasting
What we're looking for
  • 6+ years in national or key account management within foodservice supply
  • Experience selling to QSR, pub, casual dining or large-volume foodservice groups (essential)
  • A proven record of winning and rolling out multi-site/national listings
  • Some NPD exposure and the commercial acumen to spot new opportunities
  • A genuinely commercial, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Protein category knowledge is desirable, but we're open to strong candidates from other categories
What's on offer
  • Basic salary of £55,000–£70,000 depending on experience
  • Commission of approx. 10% of profit generated — a genuine high-earning opportunity for a strong performer building a £1.2m–£1.5m territory
  • Company car or car allowance following probation
  • Field-based, with a few office catch-up days (office within ~1 hour)
  • An autonomous, non-corporate culture where you can make the role your own
