Location: Ideally based between Bristol and London (Hybrid / Field-Based)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Basic + Performance Bonus

We're recruiting for a leading national commercial services organisation that partners with sporting organisations across the UK. The Role

As National Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of national sporting accounts, acting as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders and ensuring each partnership continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of a portfolio of national sporting accounts
  • Build and develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Create and deliver strategic account plans focused on growth and long-term partnership success
  • Identify new commercial opportunities across existing accounts
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals and commercial discussions
  • Monitor account performance, budgets and forecasts
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive account development
  • Work closely with Procurement, Operations, Finance and Senior Leadership teams
  • Provide guidance and support to internal sales and account management colleagues
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, sporting events and industry networking opportunities across the UK

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial ability with a genuine passion for sport.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a National Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager or Senior Account Manager
  • Experience managing large, multi-site or national customer accounts
  • A proven ability to grow accounts and build long-term commercial partnerships
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • A track record of delivering against sales, revenue and profitability targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong planning, forecasting and organisational abilities
  • A genuine passion for sport, whether through playing, coaching, volunteering or simply being actively involved
  • An interest in working closely with sporting organisations and understanding the challenges they face
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
