National Operations Manager

​Up to £50,000 per annum, plus company car or car allowance

We are seeking a National Operations Manager to join our thriving Chequers division, overseeing cleaning operations across a portfolio of regional and national healthcare contracts. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will act as our healthcare sector specialist, leading and motivating a team of five Managers while driving operational performance, service excellence, and the delivery of regional business objectives.

​As a National Operations Manager you’ll be:

  • Responsible for operational and strategic management and delivery of all services.
  • Supporting a team of managers, working with them on the front line to maximise client retention and growth.
  • Analysing the business and production of operating strategies for the region.
  • Managing client engagement, and driving innovation and mobilisation of any new business wins
  • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings and account growth.

​As a National Operations Manager you’ll have:

  • Proven experience managing cleaning operations across healthcare contracts, with an understanding of compliance, service standards, and operational best practice.
  • People management experience with the ability to motivate and coach diverse teams across multiple sites to deliver the best possible outcome.
  • The ability to use own initiative to problem solve in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness, financial management, Health and Safety awareness and IT literacy.
  • Passionate, flexible, trustworthy, and innovative.
