UK National Sales Manager – Drainage Services

Salary: £65,000–£70,000 basic + bonus + company vehicle
Location: Field-based, UK-wide
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

KTS / Keyman Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an established national drainage services business for an experienced National Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the UK.

This is a highly autonomous, field-based role suited to someone with strong drainage-sector knowledge and a proven track record of winning and developing commercial accounts.

Previous sales experience within the drainage industry is essential for this role.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing new commercial business and growing key accounts across national, regional and local markets.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Winning new commercial accounts for planned and reactive drainage services
• Selling PPM contracts, CCTV surveys, reactive drainage and emergency call-out services
• Developing relationships with facilities management companies, housing associations, property managers and contractors
• Building and managing your own sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, cold calling and site visits
• Identifying and developing opportunities within existing commercial accounts
• Preparing and presenting proposals, quotations and tenders
• Managing the sales process from initial contact through to contract award
• Maintaining strong long-term client relationships
• Providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
• Managing your own diary and national travel schedule

About You

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• Previous sales experience within the drainage industry
• Experience selling services such as CCTV surveys, PPM contracts, reactive drainage or emergency call-outs
• A proven track record of winning and retaining commercial accounts
• Experience selling into FM companies, housing associations, property management businesses or contractors
• Strong new-business development skills
• The confidence to approach and engage senior commercial decision-makers
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• A self-motivated and highly organised approach
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to travel nationally
