National Sales Manager

Location: UK Wide
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced National Sales Manager to join an established and growing packaging manufacturer specialising in printed folded cartons.

This is a key commercial position with responsibility for driving sales growth across the UK, developing major customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities within the packaging and FMCG markets.

• Develop and implement the national sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Win new business across the printed folded carton market.
• Manage and grow key national customer accounts.
• Build strong relationships with FMCG, food, beverage, retail and consumer-product customers.
• Identify new markets, sectors and commercial opportunities.
• Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through quotation and negotiation to order.
• Work closely with production, estimating, design and technical teams to deliver customer requirements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and commercial updates.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits and relevant industry exhibitions.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements to maximise revenue and margin.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years' sales experience within printed folded cartons.
• A proven track record in new business development and account growth.
• Strong understanding of the carton/packaging manufacturing process.
• Experience selling into FMCG, food, beverage, retail or consumer markets.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, target-driven approach with strong business development capability.
• The ability to work collaboratively with production and technical teams.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

• £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
