I am recruiting for a .NET Developer to join a growing development team working on a major programme of application development and systems integration.

This is a hands-on role where you'll have genuine influence over technical decisions, work with a modern Microsoft stack, and take ownership of projects from concept through to deployment.

What you'll be doing:

You'll play a key role in developing and enhancing a suite of business-critical applications, collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, performance and user experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing applications using C# and .NET 8
• Building modern web applications with Blazor
• Designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Creating and optimising SQL Server databases
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Writing clean, maintainable and scalable code
• Applying SOLID principles and modern development practices
• Supporting CI/CD and deployment activities through Azure DevOps
• Contributing to architecture and technical design discussions
• Ensuring applications remain secure, reliable and performant

What we're looking for:

We're interested in developers who enjoy building quality software and want to continue developing their technical expertise.

Essential:

• Commercial experience with C# and .NET
• Experience building web applications and APIs
• Strong SQL Server knowledge
• REST APIs and JSON
• Git version control
• HTML, CSS and Bootstrap
• Experience delivering software throughout the full development lifecycle
• Strong understanding of software design principles and best practice

Bonus points for:

• Blazor experience
• Azure Cloud exposure
• Azure DevOps experience
• Experience working within Agile environments
