Network Engineer (L3) - Remote

We're working with an award-winning MSP that delivers specialist networking, security, and cloud solutions to enterprise and public sector customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a talented Service Desk Engineer (L3) to their expanding technical team.

In this role, you'll act as a key escalation point for networking and security-related incidents, supporting customers across a range of enterprise environments. You'll be involved in troubleshooting complex technical issues, monitoring network performance, supporting upgrades and migrations, and contributing to implementation projects.

Working closely with engineering, cloud, and security teams, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of technologies while continuing to develop your technical expertise.

What they're looking for

We're keen to speak with engineers from an MSP background who enjoy solving technical challenges, taking ownership of issues, and continuously developing their skills. This role would suit a proactive, self-motivated individual looking to broaden their expertise across networking and security technologies while progressing their career. 

Our client is looking for someone with strong firewall experience. While they currently use FortiGate, they're open to considering candidates with experience across other firewall technologies.

This is a remote role,  although occasional travel to customer sites will be required. You'll also participate in a 24/7 on-call rota alongside the wider engineering team.
