Role details:
Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Network & Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in Basildon on a contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating Network Architecture for the Lab environment
- Maintaining Lab infrastructure and development areas
- Configuring systems according to Lead Systems Engineer requirements
- Supporting Trials Site activities
Job Requirements:
- Experience in IT Network and its applications within Defence & Security
- Understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection Model
- Understanding of IPv4 Addressing
- Understanding of Virtual Local Area Network configuration
- Understanding of Network Implementation and Deployment
- Understanding of Network Architecture
- Understanding of NetConf
- Understanding of Network Security (Desirable)
- Familiarity with Safety Critical Networks (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Time Sensitive Networking (Desirable)
