The type of teacher we're looking for

We're keen to hear from teachers who:

• Are completing their Primary teacher training in Summer 2026 or already hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have a genuine passion for helping children learn and succeed.
• Create engaging and inclusive classroom experiences.
• Are adaptable and confident working in different school environments.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and wider school communities.
• Are available to work across primary schools throughout Torfaen.
• Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
• Are registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• Can provide two recent professional references.
