This is a hands-on position within a cold and wet factory environment, where you'll carry out everything from routine cleaning to deep cleans and equipment strip-downs. You'll receive training from day one, with opportunities to develop your skills, progress through the pay levels and build a stable career within food manufacturing.

Your responsibilities as Night Hygiene Operative
- Complete daily cleaning schedules across food production areas to the required hygiene standards.
- Carry out scheduled deep cleans to help maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
- Strip down production equipment before cleaning and correctly reassemble it afterwards.
- Follow cleaning instructions and food safety procedures accurately throughout each shift.
- Use cleaning equipment, chemicals and PPE correctly and in line with safe working procedures.
- Help ensure production areas and machinery are clean, hygienic and ready for the next production run.
What we’re looking for in Night Hygiene Operative
- Experience of industrial, factory, food production or similar cleaning work would be beneficial.
- Ability to carry out physical work throughout a night shift in cold and wet conditions.
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning, hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Understanding of safe working practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Experience stripping down and reassembling production equipment would be advantageous.
Working hours: Choice of 4 on, 4 off, 5:30pm–6:00am; Monday–Friday, 9:30pm–6:00am; or Tuesday–Saturday, 9:30pm–6:00am.
