Night Picking Operative in Newmarket, Suffolk

We are currently looking for Chill Picking Operatives to join a busy cold store warehouse based on the outskirts of Newmarket.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is happy working night shifts and enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Role:

As a Chill Picking Operative, your main responsibilities will include:

• Picking chilled products accurately and efficiently
• Preparing customer orders ready for dispatch
• Using warehouse equipment safely
• Checking products and quantities
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team
• Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures

Working Hours & Pay:

• 4 days on / 4 days off
• 6:00pm – 6:00am
• £15.17 per hour
• Rotating shift pattern

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous warehouse, picking or order-picking experience
• Be comfortable working night shifts
• Be physically fit, as the role involves being on your feet and handling products
• Have good attention to detail
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be able to work well as part of a team
• Be comfortable working in a chilled/cold store environment

Previous cold store experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
