Meridian Business Support is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative with PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) experience to join a busy and fast-paced distribution operation. If you're available immediately and have previous experience operating a PPT, this could be an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with consistent hours.
The Role As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important part in ensuring goods are picked, moved and prepared accurately within the warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently
  • Moving stock throughout the warehouse and loading areas
  • Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Following site health and safety procedures at all times
This Warehouse Operative position is based on a fixed afternoon shift of 14:00 - 22:00, offering a great work-life balance for those who prefer a later start.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this Warehouse Operative role, you will need:
  • Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
  • PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) experience, which is essential
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock
  • A reliable and positive approach to work
Candidates with experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Order Picker, Logistics Operative, Distribution Operative, Goods In Operative or Material Handler are encouraged to apply.
