Shift Pattern: Sunday night to Thursday night
Location: Park Royal, London
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, has excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working in chilled conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Weighing and packaging fresh and frozen food products.
- Working in a chilled environment for approximately 70% of your shift.
- Carrying out quality control checks, including checking the size, weight and presentation of finished products.
- Ensuring products are packaged accurately and meet quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised production environment.
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting the wider production and dispatch team to ensure orders are completed efficiently.
- Previous experience in food production, packing, warehousing or dispatch would be beneficial.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good spoken English to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in chilled conditions for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The following qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Level 2 Food Safety and Food Hygiene.
- HACCP awareness or knowledge of food safety procedures.
- Pay: From £12.80 per hour.
- Shift: 9:00pm - 6:40am.
- Days: Sunday night through to Thursday night.
- Friday and Saturday nights off.
