As a Night Shift Setter, you'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC perforating presses to produce high-quality metal and plastic components. This Night Shift Setter role offers long-term stability, excellent bonus potential and the opportunity to support and develop other team members while contributing to continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC perforating and punch presses.
  • Produce quality components while achieving production targets.
  • Carry out quality inspections in line with ISO procedures.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including SMED and 5S.
  • Deputise for the Team Leader when required.
  • Assist with training and developing colleagues.
  • Contribute to environmental and quality objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous Night Shift Setter or punch press setting experience.
  • Mechanical or manufacturing background.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Competent using micrometres and verniers.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.
  • Forklift licence or experience is desirable.

Working Hours

  • Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00am

You'll be paid for a 40-hour week while working 37.5 hours, with your daily 30-minute break fully paid.

Please note – candidates will start on day shift for training, this will last for 2-4 weeks. Day shift hours are 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm
