Night Shift Injection Mould Setter / Supervisor

Location: Cannock
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £14.50 per hour + £2.00 per hour night shift allowance
Hours: 48 Hours per Week (40 Hours Considered)

Shift Pattern:

• Sunday to Wednesday: 8:00pm – 6:00am
• Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am

Taylor Blackwood Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced Night Shift Injection Mould Setter / Supervisor on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Injection Mould Setter looking to take the next step into a supervisory role, or for an established Supervisor seeking a new challenge within a busy manufacturing environment.

The Role

As the Night Shift Injection Mould Setter / Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the night shift operation, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the night shift production team
• Set, adjust, and optimise injection moulding machines to IMT Level 3 standards
• Monitor product quality and carry out in-process quality checks
• Respond to machine faults and process issues, escalating where required
• Manage stock levels of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods
• Complete detailed shift handovers, including production, quality, and downtime reports
• Train, support, and develop production operators
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Act as the senior point of contact on site during the night shift

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

• Previous experience within an injection moulding or similar manufacturing environment
• IMT Level 3 Setter qualification (essential)
• Previous experience setting injection moulding machines
• Supervisory or team leader experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced production environment
