Night Shift Transport Supervisor in Birmingham, West Midlands

Alma Personnel are pleased to announce we are currently working with our Birmingham based client to recruit for a NIGHT SHIFT Transport Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis.
The hours of work are 12am-9am.
The main duties of a Transport Supervisor:-
- Managing people and assets for the overnight inbound trunking process
- Managing the picking and loading of morning C&D vehicles
- Importing XPO files
- Planning trailers
- Creating pick sheets
- Allocating resources
- Ensuring all freight is scanned correctly, both in and out of the site
- Supporting the team
- Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders
- Carrying out periodic training
- Covering for the shift manager if needed
Required Experience:-
- You MUST have a Counterbalance FLT License
- Experience within a Transport Supervisor position
- Good IT skills
- Understanding of Transport Management Systems
- You MUST have knowledge of Health and Safety and take it seriously
