Night Transport Clerk

Staffline is recruiting for a Night Coordinator to join our team supporting operations in Knottingley.

This is a temporary opportunity to provide peak period cover with an immediate start available, running through until the end of January.

Rate of pay is £15.69 per hour and the overtime rate is paid at £23.54 Per Hour.

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
22:00 - 06:00
Temporary peak cover until the end of January

Your Time at Work
As a Night Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of transport operations throughout the night. You will be responsible for liaising with drivers, monitoring transport activity, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring operational issues are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Communicating with drivers and monitoring vehicle movements
Recording and updating operational information accurately
Liaising with transport teams, customers, and management
Resolving operational issues and escalating where necessary
Maintaining transport records and documentation
Supporting the wider operation to ensure service levels are achieved

Requirements:
Previous experience within a transport, logistics, or coordination environment is desirable
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent communication skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work overtime when required
Additional Requirements

Candidates must be willing to:
Work additional overtime as required during peak periods
Provide cover for extended shifts of 18:00 - 06:00 when necessary
