Purpose of the role:

The Night Warehouse Controller is responsible for taking good-ins overnight, maintaining and cleaning the warehouse including fridges, packaging area, mezzanine floor and general warehouse. A key part of the role will be to ensure we have consistency for all warehouse inventory for both goods-in and goods-out.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handover with opening controller.
  • Cleaning of warehouse, fridges, packaging area and general warehouse.
  • Ensure all good ins are processed on time and accurately.
  • Signs drivers back in after their routes have been completed.
  • Freshdesk ownership of round reconciliation.
  • Complete handover, checklists and closure reports on time.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments where required, such as, delivery time, procurement, and customer service.
  • Follow all RASOP documents to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Report damaged or missing items through electronic portal.
  • Report accidents, incidents and near misses through electronic portal.

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good physical fitness (as role may involve lifting and standing for long periods).
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent employment attendance record.

Desirable Skills:

  • Food Safety qualifications.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Forklift licence.
