Night Warehouse Operative -MHE Upskilling

AM2PM are recruiting for Night Warehouse Operatives who would like to upskill to:

  • LLOP Drivers
  • Reach Forklift Drivers
  • HLOP Drivers
  • VNA Forklift Drivers
  • PPT Drivers

For our client based in the Lutterworth area. Our client are a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.   

 

Details of a Night Warehouse Operative:

  • The shifts are Static 6pm-6am 4 on 4 off. Day Shifts are also available at 6am-6pm 4 on 4 off
  • Prior to your MHE Certification your pay rate will be £12.91 
  • Once Upskilled: Nights £17.01, Weekend Nights £17.92, Days £15.58, Weekend Days £16.47

 

Requirements of a Night Warehouse Operative:

  • Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
  • Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 20m high
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good communication skills

 

Duties of a Night Warehouse Operative:

  • Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 20m high.
  • Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
  • Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
  • Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
  • General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
  • All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
