Salary: Approximately £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)  

Overtime: Paid at Time and a Half  
 
Pin Point Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected print manufacturing business based in Dagenham. Due to continued investment and growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Lithographic Print Minder to join their permanent night shift team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern print operation producing high-quality printed products using industry-leading Heidelberg presses.
 

Shift Pattern: ·        

Permanent Nights – 12-hour shifts (6:00pm – 6:00am)
Rotation:
o   Week 1 & 2: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
o   Week 3 & 4: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
 
As a Lithographic Print Minder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Heidelberg XL 106 presses to consistently produce work to the highest quality standards while meeting production targets.
 
Working alongside fellow operators and the production team, you will ensure efficient machine performance, minimise downtime, and maintain excellent standards of quality and safety throughout the production process.
 

Key Responsibilities ·        

Set up, operate and monitor Heidelberg XL 106 lithographic printing presses.
·         Produce work in line with customer specifications and quality standards.
·         Carry out press make-readies efficiently to minimise downtime.
·         Monitor colour consistency and print quality throughout production runs.
·         Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment.
·         Identify and resolve print or machine issues quickly and effectively.
·         Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
·         Complete production documentation accurately.
·         Work closely with colleagues to ensure production schedules are achieved.

Essential Requirements ·        

Previous experience as a Lithographic Number 1 Print Minder within a commercial print environment.
Proven experience operating Heidelberg XL 106 presses.

Essential experience using:
o   CutStar
o   Coating Unit
Excellent understanding of print quality, colour control and press optimisation.
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently on permanent night shifts.
