Nightshift Forklift Warehouse Operative

Full-Time | Permanent Position | £15.70 per Hour

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced distribution operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and efficiency.

Night Shift

• 10:00pm – 6:30am
• 5 shifts per week
• Working across Monday to Sunday on a rota basis
• Saturday nights typically off

The Role;

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, checked, and dispatched accurately and on time. You will also support goods-in operations, stock management, and warehouse organisation while helping to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities;

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet operational targets.
• Preparing orders for dispatch, including pallet wrapping and secure loading.
• Loading and unloading deliveries using warehouse equipment, including forklifts where qualified.
• Checking incoming goods for quality and accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
• Organising stock effectively and ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
• Completing warehouse documentation accurately, including stock records and delivery paperwork.
• Supporting stock control activities, including stock counts and inventory management.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Reporting equipment faults, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly.

What We're Looking For;

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse experience within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong work ethic with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high standards.
