Non Executive Director - The Role:

Working alongside an engaged Chairman and dynamic Managing Director, you will help shape the strategic direction of the business and support its continued growth and value creation. You will provide independent challenge and strategic insight at Board level, acting as a trusted adviser and sounding board. This role involves scrutinising investment decisions, driving sustainable and profitable growth, and strengthening governance and overall Board effectiveness.

Non Executive Director - Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Chairman and Managing Director to provide trusted counsel and strategic insight

- Hold the leadership team accountable for delivery of agreed objectives and financial performance

- Help drive sustainable and profitable growth, focusing on commercial discipline and return on investment

- Support strategic planning, investment decisions and business development initiatives

- Bring objective perspective to key opportunities and challenges, strengthening decision-making

- Scrutinise financial performance and ensure clear returns on strategic investments

- One Board meeting per month in Lincolnshire

Non Executive Director - You:

- Extensive experience operating at senior level within marketing-led, consumer-focused businesses

- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with ability to interpret performance data and challenge constructively

- Proven track record of helping businesses scale profitably, with understanding of measuring return on investment

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong commercial experience

- Excellent judgement, communication and stakeholder management skills, balancing support with accountability

- Experience working with entrepreneurs, founders or owner-managed businesses is desirable
