We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our welcoming and supportive nursery in Chessington. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Nursery Deputy Manager who is passionate about early years education and is looking to progress their career within a high-quality childcare setting.
As our Nursery Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. You will play a key role in leading, motivating and supporting the team while helping to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We are looking for a confident leader who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to delivering exceptional standards of care and education.
To be considered for this Nursery Deputy Manager position, you must have previous experience working as a Nursery Deputy Manager. You will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures and regulatory requirements, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. You should be passionate about supporting children's learning and development while inspiring your colleagues to achieve the highest standards.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across 5 days, offering an excellent work-life balance within a friendly and professional team. The salary is up to £36,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
As Nursery Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will include supporting the Nursery Manager with the daily operation of the nursery, supervising and mentoring staff, maintaining high standards of care and education, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, building positive relationships with parents and carers, and contributing to continuous improvements across the setting. You will also support staff development, promote safeguarding and wellbeing, and help create an inclusive environment where children feel happy, safe and valued.
