An opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Manager / Deputy Manager to join a childcare provider offering quality early years education, with a focus on EYFS development, outdoor learning and Forest School activities.

As a Nursery Manager / Deputy Manager, you will be deading the nursery's day-to-day operation, supporting the team and ensuring high standards of care, learning and development.

This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £35,000 - £42,000 which is negotiable for the right candidate and benefits.

We are looking for two Nursery Managers, with one position available at each of our Hampshire locations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the daily running of the nursery and maintaining effective operational procedures.
  • Managing staff rotas, team supervision and ongoing development plans.
  • Supporting the delivery of room-based care and maintaining high standards of practice.
  • Ensuring health and safety requirements are consistently met.
  • Monitoring children's development and maintaining accurate records through the nursery's systems.
  • Building positive relationships with parents, colleagues and the wider nursery community.
  • Supporting and promoting outdoor learning and Forest School approach.

The candidates from the following background will be considered:

  • Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Childcare Manager, EYFS Manager, Early Years Manager, Nursery Deputy Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager, Nursery Supervisor or in a similar role

What we are looking for:

  • Approx. 3 years of Nursery and childcare management experience.

  • Proven leadership experience of 1 year within a nursery or early years setting.
  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification, Early Years degree or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • An interest in Forest School and outdoor learning.
  • A full UK driving licence and a valid DBS
