My client is preparing to open its doors in early 2026, and we’re looking for a confident, inspiring leader to help bring our vision to life. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something special - building a nurturing, inclusive, and community-rooted environment where children aged 0–5 can grow, belong, and feel at home.
What You’ll Do
- Champion safeguarding and wellbeing for every child
- Lead by example, ensuring full compliance with the EYFS Framework and all relevant legislation, while demonstrating a strong understanding of best practice
- Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals
- Ensure high standards of care, learning, safety and hygiene
- Manage day-to-day operations including occupancy, staffing and administration
- Build strong relationships with families and the local community
- Help shape the nursery’s identity, ethos, and future ambitions
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified and experienced early years leader (Level 5 or above)
- A confident manager with a passion for child development and inclusive practice
- Someone who is excited to be involved in a new Early Years Setting and will be integral in building something from the ground up and shaping a shared vision with Co-Founders.
- An effective communicator who values teamwork, creativity, and community

Location: Stockport, – easily accessible by public transport and close to the town centre
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: c. £38,000, based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £34,000.00 per year
